Who am I?
Welcome, I am Gabriel Carreño Zillmann, passionate about science, more specifically Biomechanics, Motor Control and Neurosciences.
Would you like to know a little about me, then I invite you to my world!
Professionally I am a kinesiologist, with training and experience in Biomechanics and Motor Control. In my beginnings as an undergraduate student I always had an interest in surface electromyography and biomechanics. That is why I was the first Chilean kinesiology student to participate in student and rehabilitation congresses and later to send projects to societies specialized in kinesiology. I participated in the International Congress of Telethons ORITEL presenting a project of fatiguing activity using Wavelet matrices. Later I sent, as a 2nd year Bachelor Degree student, to the International Society of Electromyography & Kinesiology congress, a project on Kinetic Energy at the beginning of walking. After that, it is history. I participated in a Research UNIT related to clinical trials of Aquilian Tendinopathy, starting with projects with avian and bovine tendons, progressing to cadeveric trials to finish in vivo, in situ, with post-surgical patients. Then I developed a clinical-sports line with female running at regional level.
Currently, due to family issues I have had to start from scratch, what will come next, I invite you to walk this path together!
